The service was so friendly, it felt like you were eating at aunties house. We had the short rib soup and the brisket soup. Both were so clean and flavorful! The real highlight is the banchan. The radish kimchi and the fish cakes were my favorite. This place will definitely be in our weekly rotation!

Ordered beef brisket soup and galbi tang (beef short rip) soup. The soup was prepared and flavored with natural ingredients, you could taste the obvious honesty immediately with your first scoop. Side dishes were homemade. Kimchi and marinated fish cakes were superbly prepared. Unfortunately, they don’t sell these side dishes separately that we can take home with Very clean and detailed service, friendly and patient staff. They clean up and wipe all seats after each customer. We are Taiwanese and love Korean food! This is one of the really good Korean restaurants we have been in SoCal.

If you're in search of an authentic Korean hot soup (곰탕) experience, look no further than this place. **Ambiance:** The interior is a harmonious blend of modern design and traditional Korean elements. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest from the start. **Food:** The star of the show is, of course, the hot soup. The menu boasts a variety of options, each more enticing than the last. I opted for the classic boodae Jjigae, and it did not disappoint. The rich, spicy but clear broth was perfectly balanced with tender pork, ham and a generous amount of veggies, creating a symphony of flavors that warmed me to my core. For those who enjoy a milder taste, the chadol gom tang is a must-try. **Portions and Pricing:** The portions are generous, ensuring you get great value for your money. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. The side dishes (banchan) are plentiful and varied, adding an extra layer of delight to the meal. **Service:** Service is prompt and courteous. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.

Had the Gom Tang and Spicy Galbi Jjim — both slapped harder than Sun Nong Dan. Small spot, big flavor. Quiet now, but not for long. Service? 10/10. You’re welcome.

I finally made it to a place I’ve been wanting to try for ages. It was busy, so you can tell it’s really popular. The gomtang was really tasty—the broth was delicious and it had lots of meat. The crispy kimchi pancake was a hit with my kid too. I definitely want to go back and try more from the menu!

One of the best and authentic Korean food in California! The soup, noodle and galbi are cooked right, to the right taste, and the kimchi is to die for. Not so sour, the taste is just right balance. Service was pretty good, they asked hows the taste, anything to improve. Love the staff very much. Atmosphere is also good: spacious, comfortable sitting, table was big enough to fit 4 dishes.. overall experience was and will for sure bring back more people.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at this charming, home-style restaurant recommended by my sister, who often orders takeout from here. Though the space itself is rather small and cozy, it has clearly earned a solid reputation among locals for its exceptional 곰탕 (Gomtang)—a traditional Korean beef soup that stands as the restaurant’s signature dish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and served by an attentive and genuinely friendly waitress, whose thoughtful service set the tone for the meal. We can often gauge the quality of a Korean restaurant by small but important details—such as the presentation of the food containers, the freshness and flavor of the 반찬 (side dishes), and the careful curation of the menu—and this place passed on all fronts. The 반찬 were fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, offering the perfect complement to the main dishes. The highlight of my meal was definitely the 형제 곰탕 (Brother’s Gomtang). The broth was clean and rich, reminiscent of the classic 이북식 원반 (North Korean-style beef soup) with its deep, clear, and satisfying meat flavor. The slices of beef were tender and of high quality, and dipping them into the savory sauce provided by the restaurant added an extra layer of taste that I truly enjoyed. We also tried the steamed 김치만두 (Kimchi Dumplings). While they were a bit spicier than I typically prefer, the flavor was well-balanced and satisfying. There are still many other items on the menu I’m eager to try—especially with a glass of soju to complement the hearty dishes next time. What makes this restaurant stand out is its dedication to authentic, home-style Korean comfort food, served in a clean, and welcoming environment. The friendly, attentive staff enhance the overall dining experience, making it a place I want to return to—not just for the food, but for the warmth and care that comes with every visit. I hope they maintain both quality and service to prolong their business. 초심을 잃지 맙시다.

Authentic Korean Comfort Food I had a chance to try their ggomtang and jokbal muchim, and both dishes were hearty, home-style, and absolutely satisfying. It’s a great spot to enjoy with some soju, as most of the food pairs perfectly with it. I usually like to have a slice of lemon with my soju, but was surprised when the server mentioned there was a charge—and even more so when it arrived looking withered and tired. Most places offer that complimentary, so that was a bit of a letdown. The restaurant itself is tidy, and while the banchan is basic, it’s still fresh and tasty. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you're in the mood for Korean comfort food with a relaxed, homey vibe.
